Automobiles in Germany's Town Found Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Approximately fifty automobiles have been smeared with what seems to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Automobiles, building surfaces and mailboxes were defaced, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a official communication.

Officers state they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a reddish substance.

The substance had been drawn in the pattern of a swastika, they stated.

Officers then located many other vandalized automobiles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under legislation outlawing the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Police report early analysis indicate the liquid was most likely blood from a person.

"At present there remains no indication as to its origin; officials are presently not aware of any harm in association with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities announced they were trying "to unravel the case" and have requested to the community for tips.

An important official commented the attack made him speechless and had to be resolved quickly.

"This event strikes at the core of Hanau and revives the wounds of the extremist attack five years ago," he posted on online, mentioning the death of nine victims by a shooter aiming at people of migrant background in five years prior.
